| Description: |
Changes has always been a
disruptive force in human affairs, but its effects have never been so widespread,
continuous, and deep as they are today. Downsizing, right-sizing, mergers, layoffs,
restructuring and the like are becoming commonplace. As a result, these changes have
thrust diverse groups of strangers and friends together who now have the mandate to
operate as a team. Individuals from a variety of locations, disciplines, functions,
etc., many of whom were left after the smoke of change cleared or who are still waiting to
hear, must rise to the organizational challenges of getting the work accomplished as well
as handling their own emotional transition and change needs.
Based on the book: The Hidden Side of Employee Resistance to Change by Dr.
Edward Hubbard, this program provides concrete advice, step-by-step action plans and skill
practice for building teams after a change. |

|
| Description: |
Some people seem to be able to
encounter personal change and adjust their lives intentionally, while others encounter
change and seem to be in the grip of forces far beyond their control. Some of their
changes appear to be fortunate ones, while others are unfortunate. Even when the change
appears to be good, it still may cause anxiety and loss. Nonetheless, in most cases,
during these change periods, people tend to have one thing in common: they confuse the
personal change they are making with the transition they are in. In this course,
participants will learn how to harness the true power of the "personal transition and
change" process and design their life for success! |
